This MA provides the opportunity for individuals to develop design/craft ideas through an intimate knowledge of material and making processes. Materials and craft skills are not seen as an end in themselves. Process and content are considered as interdependent and mutually enriching. You may be interested in new applications for established methods or wish to be exploiting the opportunities that technology makes available. We offer a student-centred and multi-discipline/material approach to studying including: wood, metal, plastics, textiles and ceramics, furniture, lighting and mixed-media combinations of any of these and additional disciplines.
