This component of the course will enable participants to locate, and evaluate existing CALL materials, in addition to gaining some experience in the use of basic tools for the creation of CALL tasks such as MS Word, FrontPage, PowerPoint, and some authoring tools (e.g. HotPotatoes and overLIB). 3. To focus on CALL as an object of inquiry through critical discussion of current research. 4. To develop the necessary skills for students to implement their own research projects.
