  • Objectives The course aims to give you the required knowledge and skills to enter the surveying profession: to develop knowledge and understanding of property, its role in the wider economy and the political, social and environmental factors that affect it. to develop the analytical and financial skills necessary for successful property development, investment and management. to gain research skills and an understanding of the application of research to property and property markets. to develop a deeper knowledge of a selected specialist aspect of property.
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements The normal entry requirement is a good honours degree or equivalent qualification in architecture, geography, urban studies, planning, economics, engineering, construction or other similar subjects.

    Autumn semester:

    -Property Economics
    -Investment Finance and Funding
    -Philosophy
    -Theory and Ethics in Property
    -Research Methods

    Spring semester:

    -Integrated Project covering Valuation.
    -Investment Valuation and the Law of Business Leases.
    -choice of a specialist option from a list of 10, including Portfolio Management, Property Market Analysis, Urban Economics.

    Summer semester:

    Dissertation
