MA Combined Studies

  • Objectives Learning at Work courses are designed in conjunction with you, your employer and the University. Credit is given for prior learning achieved at work or from taught courses, which will reduce the time to graduation.
  • Academic title MA Combined Studies
  • Course description Central to the Partnership Masters is the idea of work-based learning. You plan professional-level learning projects based on your job responsibilities, the projects being supported by taught units of study selected from the huge range of Masters and professional programmes right across the University.

Previous relevant learning, however gained, can count towards your award. Your study programme is tailored to meet your own specific needs. You design it in partnership with your employer or placement provider, and with the help of University supervisors. As a Partnership Masters student, you take responsibility for managing your own personalised study programme.
