Objectives
This qualifying law degree provides you with a focus on the commercial range of options that we are able to offer in this large and well-equipped department giving, you the opportunity to make your CV distinctive and tailored to the career path you aspire to. The course aims to provide detailed knowledge and understanding of the branches of law relevant to a business lawyer. We provide an understanding of legal rules and put them in their contexts and employability skills to prepare you for a wide range of legal and non-legal careers.

Entry requirements
You should have at least 280 points, including 200 points from two or more A-levels. English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) is also required. These requirements may be varied in individual cases.

Course structure
Single Honours students take eight modules at each of three levels. To obtain a qualifying law degree for professional exemption you take the legal foundation modules.

Level 2
* Law of Torts I and II
* Property Law
* Law of the European Union
* Environmental Law
* Business Crime
You can choose from a options including Company Law, Employment Law, Sale of Goods and Business Crime.
