        Approach     
        

     

    Lithuanian training is available seven days a week, 365 days a year.   Language training takes place between 08:00 and 20:00 although training is also available outside of these hours upon request.

    Suitable tailored and published materials will be used throughout your course, with recommendations on self-study material and extra reading made at the beginning and throughout the duration of your course.

    All Communicaid Lithuanian trainers are native speakers with at least 3 years’ professional Lithuanian training experience.  In addition to relevant academic and linguistic qualifications and experience, many of our Lithuanian trainers also possess considerable exposure and expertise in the professional world.

    JC started her training career in Lithuania working as a trainer of both English and Lithuanian to Lithuanian speakers and expatriated professionals.  On relocating to the UK, JC successfully transferred her experience and skills to deliver Lithuanian courses to employees of British public sector organisations. She works extensively for the Immigration and Criminal Justice Departments and has also been involved in providing Lithuania courses to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.

    Lithuanian is the official language of Lithuania.  There are approximately 4 million native speakers of Lithuanian, most of whom are located in Lithuania, although speakers of Lithuanian can also be found in neighbouring countries such as Latvia, Estonia and Russia.

    Lithuanian is classified as a Baltic language, a group of its own within the Indo-European language family and is most closely related to Latvian, although they are not mutually intelligible. The Lithuanian language has two main dialects Highland Lithuanian and Lowland Lithuanian.  Standard Lithuanian is based on Western Highland Lithuanian.
