Life Drawing – An Introduction - Course

  • Course description

Practise linear and tonal studies, record active poses and make more considered drawings, allowing you to gain confidence in your observational drawings of the human form.

Are you inspired by the great artists and wish to learn how to draw the human form?

Whether you have attended classes previously or perhaps have never drawn the human figure before, you will receive a warm welcome on this course. You can be assured of a first-class experience, whilst developing your skills alongside a wide mix of individuals with this shared interest.

Your tutor Tom Winter (Sunday Times/Singer Friedlander Watercolour Prize winner) will lead you through a structured programme of drawing skills. You will practise linear and tonal studies, record active poses and make more considered drawings, allowing you to gain confidence in your observational drawings of the human form.

Tom will encourage you to be both personal and expressive whilst exploring an array of drawing materials. Whilst receiving teaching as a group you will also be supported and encouraged by your tutor on an individual basis.
