-International Relations (IR) is one of the fastest growing sections of our Graduate Programme and an area in which we are investing significantly. The MA course units on offer cover most of the field with a significant emphasis on the critical and normative dimensions of contemporary IR scholarship. As well as research training, the IR pathway provides students with a critical grounding in the theory and practice of international politics in an era of globalisation. The compulsory course units are complemented by core course units in global ethical and normative issues, security studies, foreign policy and international political economy. You take 5 compulsory research training modules and 2 compulsory core modules:
