Course descriptionThe MSc International Business provides graduate students with the opportunity to develop a strategic business outlook in a global context and to hone students’ business skills developed in earlier academic studies.
The course provides a synthesis between contemporary management theory and best practice and an evaluation of the topical issues prevalent in international business.
A major objective of the MSc International Business is to provide students with a basis to commencing and advancing their careers in management in either the public or private sector.
Course content
The course consists of a variety of taught modules and a final semester dissertation.
The core taught modules cover management in the context of contemporary international and global business issues; other modules provide functional skills enabling the student to have a sound grasp of topical issues such as:
* strategic human resource management
* financial decision making
* marketing
* economics change management
Students are able to choose two electives in the second semester from a wide range of choices.
