Over 86.1% of undergraduate leavers from full-time courses were in either work or further study, according to the 2005-06 Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) report.
Nearly 60% of students are on courses in academic areas where the teaching provision has been rated as excellent by the national higher education quality watchdogs.
Teesside was the only modern university in North East England to gain a 5 in the last Research Assessment exercise - this was for Historical Research.
