University of Salford, School of Nursing
Información
The School of Nursing is one of three schools in the Faculty of Health & Social Care.
Based in Greater Manchester we work in partnership with the NHS and different Independent and Voluntary health care organisations across the North West to provide education, training and ongoing staff development.
The School also offers a wide portfolio of educational programmes for qualified nurses who wish to continue their education at diploma, degree, masters or doctoral level.
The School is committed to multi-professional education & many of our programmes are open to colleagues from across the Health & Social Care Sector.
We offer a variety of continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities in the form of study days, conferences & short courses. Alternatively we can develop & deliver bespoke courses which meet your organisation's needs.
The School of Nursing has a reputation for being a friendly place to work & study. The Nursing Professional Body & Quality Assurance Agency have consistently commented upon the excellent level of academic & pastoral support given to students, by University & clinical staff.
The establishment of the Salford Centre for Nursing, Midwifery & Collaborative Research has helped the School develop its research portfolio over the past couple of years. The advancement of knowledge is important to the School & we've supported this with considerable investment. This has resulted in a growing body of PhD students undertaking doctoral studies in a wide range of topics.
