  • Entry requirements Academic requirement





    You’ll normally need one of the following:



    At least a Lower Second Class Honours degree OR international equivalent



    An acceptable professional qualification*





    *Acceptable professional qualifications:







    Full membership of Any Institute of Chartered Accountants in the UK or Ireland



    Full membership of Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting



    Associateship or Fellowship of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)







    English language requirement





    Those without a UK degree are required to pass an English language test (residents of English speaking countries may be exempt from this). Normally, we require:





    GCSE, GCE ‘O’ Level English or equivalent at grade B or above



    IGCSE English as a First Language at grade B or above (only acceptable from students who do not require a visa to study in the UK)



    Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) at grade B or above



    IELTS (academic): A minimum score of 7.0 with minimum scores of: 6.5 in writing, 6.5 in speaking, 6.0 in reading and 6.0 in listening



    International Baccalaureate (IB) English at grade 5 or above (either Subsidiary or Higher)



    Successful completion of the Business School’s Pre-Sessional English Course





    Candidates who have completed a degree taught in English within the following countries will not require English language results:





    Australia



    Canada



    Guyana



    Ireland



    South Africa



    United Kingdom



    United States of America



    West Indies







    Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)



    The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is not a requirement for admission to the Imperial Global MBA.





    Visa Requirements



    A Tier 4 visa is not required for this programme. You will be required to obtain a student visitor visa for the on-campus periods of the programme if you are an international student from a country outside the EU or EEA.

    Entry Requirements

    All applications to the Global MBA are considered on their individual merits. We look for a combination of academic ability, work experience and professional status. To be eligible to apply for the programme you would normally have:

    • 5 years’ relevant postgraduate work experience
    • At least a Lower Second Class Honours degree OR international equivalent OR recognised professional qualification
    • English language test results (if applicable)
