Approach
Hungarian training is available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Language training takes place between 08:00 and 20:00 although training is also available outside of these hours upon request.
Suitable tailored and published Hungarian course materials will be used throughout your course, with recommendations on self-study material and extra reading made at the beginning and throughout the duration of your course.

Hungarian course trainer
All Communicaid Hungarian language trainers are native speakers with at least 3 years’ professional Hungarian training experience. In addition to relevant academic and linguistic qualifications and experience, many of our Hungarian trainers also possess considerable exposure and expertise in the professional world.
Your Hungarian trainer will be assigned to you following the results of your diagnostic consultancy according to your objectives and areas of focus. Detailed below is a sample profile of a member of our Hungarian training team.
JM
JM has worked for Communicaid since 1998 and possesses a wide breadth of experience in teaching a range of both corporate and public sector clients. Her experience includes delivering Hungarian courses to business people at all levels as well preparing diplomats for assignments in Hungary.
Before moving into language training, JM initially began her career as a translator for the Hungarian Broadcasting Corporation’s English department. She then moved on to work for Malev Hungarian Airlines before relocating to London in 1986 where she began work as a freelance Hungarian language trainer and translator of Hungarian and Russian. JM subsequently gained a Masters degree in Russian Language and Literature and continued to teach and translate Hungarian on a freelance basis. She also worked at the Hungarian Embassy in London as assistant to the Press Attaché between 1992 and 1993. Currently, JM is a research student working on the last phase of her PhD at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London.
magyar – Facts about the Hungarian language
Hungarian is the official language of Hungary and there are approximately 14 million speakers of the language based mainly in Central Europe. About 10 million of these speakers are based in Hungary while significant minority communities can be found in Romania, Slovakia, Serbia and Austria.
Hungarian is classified as belonging to a sub-group of the Finno-Ugric language family and is loosely related to Finnish. Up to eight Hungarian dialects have been identified which, for the most part, are mutually intelligible. They are: Alföld, West Danube, Danube-Tisza, King's Pass Hungarian, Northeast Hungarian, Northwest Hungarian, Székely and West Hungarian
Hungarian is written using a variant of the Latin alphabet which includes several additional letters. These include letters with acute accents (á,é,í,ó,ú) which represent long vowels, with umlauts (ö and ü) and their long counterparts o and u.
Hungarian is written using its own alphabet, consisting 24 letters and was the first language to include vowels.
