Course description
The course is designed to assist people who have studied Chinese to a certain level and wish to take the HSK – a standard official Chinese language proficiency test recognized throughout PR China and accepted as a proof of language proficiency for study in higher education institutions or for employment.
The course aims to deal with both the language elements of the HSK test such as vocabulary and grammar and to improve exam skills. The HSK test will be a good opportunity for the course participants to gain an objective assessment of their current Chinese language skills. Personal feedback and advice on how to further improve the related language skills in Chinese will form an integral part of the course.
The course requires the participants to spend at least a few hours a week outside the class on homework, and the course itself will focus on diagnostic analysis, explanation and practice of the relevant language elements, and preparing through mock exams.
