Public policy and government impact on everyone. Issues such as health, education or the influence of Europe affect us all. This programme draws on aspects of business, globalisation, environmental issues, politics, sociology and social policy to provide an understanding of the processes involved. Students also learn IT and managerial techniques necessary for a management career in the public and private sectors.
Typical HND modules include Government and Business, Policy and Society, The Global Environment, Introduction to Politics and Public Administration, British Public Administration and Management, Environmental Politics, Making of a Global World, and Social Diversity and Social Exclusion.
