  • Course description
    Module I. Emerging Markets
    This module intends to provide basic knowledge of the legal framework in which international commercial relations with emerging or developing markets, particularly those in Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, are developed. Special attention is given to the mechanisms of the WTO (World Trade Organization), to the regional regime of Mercosur and to the future expansion of the European Union.

    Module II. International Disputes
    Specialization essential for jurists appraising international transactions and key questions relating to judgment on transactional law linked to different legal systems, as well as a full review of the content of the so-called "special part" of International Private Law corresponding to Commercial or Business law.

    Module III. Corporate Law and M&A
    This module explores those aspects of Corporate Law that, due to their complexity, are not dealt with in Law degrees. These include some of the most important operations in the restructuring of companies (accounts, capital modifications, transformations, mergers, demergers and group procedures), all of which constitute core praxis for the jurist specializing in Business Law.

    Module VII. Industrial and Intellectual Property Law

    This module specializes in all aspects of Intellectual Property, including branding, inventions and copyrights, all of which are of vital importance in the business world.

    Module XI. Regional planning and environmental law. City planning law. Public contracts and regulated sectors.

    Provides all basic knowledge for comprehension of environmental elements that legally condition business activities, such as restrictions on land use and legal requirements regarding the environment.

    Module XII. Corporate Employment Law
