ObjectivesFood and drink manufacturing is a major part of the food chain, encompassing a number of product sectors, including cereals, beverages, confectionery and snacks, fish, fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry and oils and fats. There are over 6,500 companies across Britain associated with food and drink manufacture and sales, accounting for 12 per cent of total employment in the country. Employees working within the sector traditionally have had few opportunities for gaining related qualifications until now. This course will give you the opportunity to kick-start or develop your own professional career whilst bringing new skills and knowledge into your workplace.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements Applicants will be employed within the food or drinks industries and have GCSEs in English, Maths and Science or equivalent.
