FdSc Computer and Network Administration

  • Objectives The University offers four Foundation Degree pathways concerned with the provision of skills and knowledge used in the development of computer based systems. FdSc Computer and Network Administration. If you are interested in building computers and setting up and administering computer networks for end users, then this is the course for you. It covers computer and network specifications, building, fault finding, administration and security issues.
  • Entry requirements Entry Requirements 100 points which must include one pass at A level or Vocational A level. Additional requirements for this course are normally GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalents) in Mathematics and English. The University adopts a flexible approach to admitting students with non-standard qualifications; in particular students with appropriate work experience are encouraged to apply. Note: Mathematics and Computing A levels are not an entry requirement.
