Course descriptionThe development of digital media production requires multi-skilled practitioners for the media industries which are constantly and rapidly evolving. The diverse nature of the digital media industries is reflected in our approach to putting together this innovative course.
This course now includes a greater emphasis within the first year on collaborative work, which introduces you to professional practices such as client liaison and working to mutually agreed criteria.
This is the right course for you if you have a preference for computer-based media production. You may have experience of packages such as Flash, Photoshop or Adobe Freehand. You will want a career as an author of interactive media projects, and would like to develop video production skills to give you an added edge in a competitive employment market.
Progression/Career Opportunities:
This course will prepare you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to succeed in the constantly evolving world of Multimedia Design. Progression from this course can be either into further academic study on to the BA (Hons) Media Production (Top-up) or to employment.
