Fast Track Hairdressing Course

Objectives The course content includes:

* Customer care and health and safety

* Career and job advice

* Advice and consultation skills for client

* Preparation of the hair

* Sectioning the hair

* Product selection – choosing the perfect product for the client

* Use of professional salon tools

* How to shampoo, condition the hair and scalp including massage techniques

* Consultation and treatments for hair and scalp

* Professional blow dry including straight blow dry, volume and movement

* Using GHD’s to create different looks

* Creatively cut hair using a combination of cutting techniques including one-length square cut, layering, straight bob, graduated bob, fringes

* Use of different colour products including temporary and permanent colour

* Colour hair using a variety of techniques such as root tints, full head tints

* Colour techniques using foils, including block and broken colours

* Colour correction

* Style, dress, set and finishing techniques

* No more than 5 students per class to ensure a high standard of learning

* Advice on the best professional products to purchase

* One-to-one progress meetings with all students
Practical experience ATLEAST 6 Cuts and Colours on members of the public.
