ObjectivesIt aims to provide a flexible qualification for graduates wishing to continue studying but without the constraints often inherent in taught Master's programmes. This flexibility is achieved by the integration of a small number of taught courses with a large independent project devised by the student. The large, research-based component of the programme permits students to continue with either an industrial or research-based career.
