Course descriptionThe School of Science includes a broad range of specialists in areas as diverse as geology, environmental science, tourism and conservation, geography and planning. Well-equipped analytical and computer facilities support study.
Normally students register initially for an MPhil. After approximately 1 to 1.5 years, the student submits a comprehensive transfer report in order to be considered for transfer to PhD. Upon acceptance of the report, the student is permitted to continue to completion of the PhD.
MPhil/PhD opportunities are available across the range of activities within the School of Science, including Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Earth and Environmental Sciences.
