Academic titleEngineering Management, MSc
Course descriptionThe evolution in the global employment markets for postgraduate engineers has led to a significant increase in the demand for MSc degrees in engineering with a solid management focus. This, in effect, substitutes the traditional route of general management degrees or MBA degrees, that historically provided the supplemental knowledge towards the building of successful senior management careers in technology based business.
The programmes are primarily aimed at science and technology graduates who wish to extend and develop their skills to encompass a wider set of disciplines, or for graduates who want to develop their career towards a managerial role in the engineering, manufacturing and the commercial enterprise in which they have chosen to work. Furthermore, the programmes are aimed at experienced industry practitioners who wish to complement their academic knowledge and obtain professional recognition in key management areas of private industry or the public sector internationally.
