This short course looks at the importance of effective decision making, and how this can improve efficiency in the workplace. It is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to make decisions confidently. The course introduces each stage of the decision making process, from identifying and defining problems and exploring possible solutions to selecting the best method of dealing with a problem. Implementing and communicating decisions is then explored, as well as monitoring the effects of a decision to ensure that the problem has been solved and preventing problems from recurring.
