  • Objectives To give students an understanding of the structures and practices of the contemporary creative industries and of the ways that creativity can be employed within them To equip students with a balanced portfolio of creative, entrepreneurial and communication skills
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements A Foundation degree in a relevant subject area; or the completion of two years (240 credits) of undergraduate level work in a relevant field (e.g. Media studies or Drama). A suitable access pathway for the BA Hons Creative Industries is provided by Greenwich Community College

  • Course description As a student on this programme, you are able to develop your skills in a range of creative practice options, as well as in areas such as creative entrepreneurship, project and events management, and marketing. A key focus of the programme is to help students find out what opportunities there are for them to employ their creative talents in the contemporary creative industries.

    The creative industries are a driving force in today’s global economy, offering opportunities for enterprise and employment. However, they are also fiercely competitive, rewarding those who can demonstrate both creative and entrepreneurial flair and expertise. To meet this challenge, the programme offers an integrated and interdisciplinary curriculum, which allows students to tailor their own programme of study. You will be able to follow your own particular interests and achieve a balanced portfolio of skills.
