This five week course will take you through all the stages of a basic production, from initial script to final DVD. It will provide you with hands-on practical skills training that will enable you to either brush up on your digital skills or embark on your own productions.
Upon completing this course, you will:
• Understand conventions of shooting for editing with a view to professional video-making
• Know how to set up and use a video camera and sound kit for a shoot using manual settings
• Understand traditional lighting theory
• Have a basic understanding of non-linear editing
No previous experience is necessary. Students should be fluent in English
