    AS level:  1 year – Day.  A2 level:  1 year - Day
    Full course 2 years.                      
    Full-time or part-time.

    What does it include?
    Edexcel AS (8PH01) Edexcel A2 (9PH01)
    For AS: Physics on the Go, Physics at Work, Exploring Physics
    For A2: Physics on the Move, Physics from Creation to Collapse, Experimental Physics
    The assessment for both AS and A2 levels comprises two examination papers plus a practical physics investigation carried out under timed supervision.

    What do I need to get on to it?
    You need a minimum of 6 GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include English Language.  
    GCSE Mathematics, Core Science plus Additional Science or GCSE Physics must be achieved at grade B minimum. It is preferred that students study AS mathematics alongside AS Physics.

    Where does it lead?
    Physics is a required A level for degrees such as Engineering, Radiology or Ophthalmology.  It is a respected science and is looked upon favourably for other degrees including Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.
