Entry requirementsThis course is for students 19 years old and over. 3 GCSE’s passes grade D or above in relevant subjects; a BTEC introductory diploma or a level 1 qualification or related work experience. You will need to present a portfolio of relevant work or will given an assignment to complete in order to assess your level of skills in the subject at interview.

Course description This course is for those students who want to develop their interests in Art and Design across a range of subject disciplines; and for those who are progressing from an introductory diploma.
The course consists of 6 units: Unit 1 2D & 3D Visual Communications Unit 2 Contextual References in Art & Design Unit 3 Explore and Develop Art & Design ideas. Unit 4 Produce Art & Design outcome Unit 9 Working with 3D Design Briefs Unit 12 Working to 3D Design Crafts Briefs You will be given more information about how to achieve each unit when you receive your assignment briefs.
