Course descriptionDuration of course:
One evening per week for one year.
N.B: Daytime programmes of study are available on a full-time basis, or part-time for those in receipt of DSS benefits and needing to satisfy the conditions of availability for work.
What does it include?
Listening, reading and writing. News, publicity, discussions, talks and interviews in French. You will learn to write letters and articles.
What do I need to get on the course?
You should have GCSE Grade B or above in French. If you do not have any formal qualifications, but do have a French background and/or a reasonable knowledge of French you may be assessed as suitable for the course by one of our lecturers.
What type of assessment is used?
All assessment is by final examination. The A/S tests listening, reading and writing. Homework will be set throughout the course.
