Course - Final Cut Studio: Video & DVD Production and Editing : BTEC Specialist Award
Course descriptionThis BTEC Award runs for one evening a week and for two terms. Students wishing to join this course will need to have some experience with editing techniques i.e. the Final Cut Pro introductory course running in September. This BTEC accredited course will equip you with a thorough grounding in pre-production, production and post-production techniques. Having planned and filmed your own video projects (either individually or as part of a group) you will have the opportunity to capture and edit your footage to a professional standard. With your initial edit complete you will, in the second term focus your attentions on delivering your footage to a variety of media including DVD and/or the Web. This exciting course is taught using the latest Apple Mac computers with Final Cut Studio software including: Final Cut Pro, Compressor and DVD Studio Pro.
