However, you can get a BTEC qualification from this course. This course is ideal for those wishing to pursue a career in IT Technical support.

What does the course lead to?

The college offers a BTEC unit qualification from this course, that is if you pass the coursework and the end of course exam.  The fees for this are included in the course fee.  The units we offer are taken from the BTEC First Diploma for ICT Practitioners, so you could use these units plus further study to build up to the complete Diploma.

The College does not itself offer the Microsoft exams – for these exams you will need to book yourself in to a commercial exam centre, which you can do online.

After this course you will be able to seek work as an IT Technician or in IT Support, or you can study further in the areas of PC Repair or Networking.
