Course - Construction - Painting & Decorating, Bricklaying and Carpentry
Entry requirementsThis course is suitable for students of all ages. There are no entry requirements.
Course description Gain practical skills in Painting and Decorating, Carpentry and Bricklaying. There will be a minimum amount of theory and the majority of the work will be practical tasks based in the workshop or working around the College or occasionally in the local community. You will also study health and safety, key skills and work and life skills.
Course Structure:
A mixture of practical decorating work in the workshop, around the college and in community centres, theory work and key skills in classrooms and computer rooms.
Course resources:
Tools, equipment and computer rooms. All students have access to our fully equipped, state-of-the-art Learning Centres at 3 College Centres. This includes free Internet access.
Assessment:
No formal assessment.
