Course - Children's Care Learning and Development CACHE NVQ Level 2
Entry requirementsWho is this course for? This course is aimed at people who want to work with children and brush up their basic skills at the same time - particularly in written English and communication. What do I need to get on the course? We welcome applications from people age 19 or over who have a genuine interest in children and a suitable personality. You will need to provide one satisfactory reference. You are also expected to complete a disclosure of criminal background form/police check and a health questionnaire.
Academic titleA college attendance certificate will be awarded provided you have successfully completed all assignments, reached a satisfactory standard in the college and attended for the required amount of time.
Course descriptionWhat is this course about?
For people who want to work with children and brush up their basic skills at the same time - particularly in written English and communication. The course includes: health and safety in the home and group settings, food and nutrition for children and their families, play and practical activities for working with children and an introduction to information technology, plus an extra day of learning support.
You should have some experience of working with groups of children.
