Entry requirementsProfessional Certificate -Age 18 or over with two Advanced Levels or equivalent -Age 19 or over with a minimum of one year full-time work experience in marketing -CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing (formerly Foundation Certificate in Marketing) -NVQ or SVQ Level 2 in Marketing (UK) -NVQ or SVQ Level 3 any other subject (UK) Professional Diploma: -Any Bachelor or Master degree -Any Foundation Degree (UK only) -CIM Certificate in Marketing/CIM Certificate in Marketing Management -Practice/CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing -EdExcel (BTEC) Higher National Certificate/Diploma in any subject (UK only) -NVQ or SVQ Level 3 in Marketing (UK only) NVQ or SVQ Level 4 in any other subject (UK only) Any appropriate vocational qualification approved by CIM At least 3 years work experience in a marketing manager role
Course descriptionDuration of course:
Modules run from September to December and January to July, 2 evenings a week (Tuesday and Wednesday evening 6-9pm).
Students can join the programme in September or January.
What does it include?
Certificate Level:
You will study four modules which are externally assessed, though modules can also be taken on an individual basis. Most students take two modules in the December examinations and two in the June examinations. This certificate will enable you to work in the marketing field and continue your study to the Diploma Level.
Modules include: -Marketing Fundamentals -Marketing Environment
-Customer communications -Marketing in Practice
Diploma Level:
You will complete a further four externally assessed modules. You may progress to the Postgraduate Diploma Level and membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. This qualification may also lead to international employment in Management and Marketing.
