On this course, you will combine technical training with skills in drawing and computer aided design. You will also develop the personal qualities and attitudes, which are essential for career development in the fashion industry.
Who is this course for?
Young people aged 16-18 who wish to pursue a career in the fashion industry.
The course allows you to work on a variety of design projects that involve research, exhibition and museum visits, design development, garment making, fashion illustration and presentation. You will develop individual projects for your final collection and end of year show.
What qualification will I get? BTEC National Diploma in Fashion
What can I do after the course?
On completion, you can study a Diploma in Foundation Studies (Art and Design), or Foundation Degree in Fashion and Textiles. You may also be eligible to progress directly on to degree or a Higher National Diploma course at university or College.
