Course - BTEC First Diploma in Sport (Performance)
Entry requirements4 GCSEs at grade D or above all in either English, Science, Maths and P.E. Alternative qualifications may also be accepted such as LOCN Sports Studies all units complete with 3 units at Level 2, or GNVQ Foundation merit.
Applicants will be interviewed and diagnosed to assess their current abilities and needs. You will also need to display a keen interest and participation in sport.

You will be required to take part practically and develop presentation skills for a variety of assessment methods to make learning fun.

Where does it lead?
Possible progression is onto the Level 3 National Diploma courses in both Sport & Business or Sport & Exercise Science. The course also offers the students the opportunity to create links within the industry through the work-based project. This will help students who choose to progress into employment.
