Entry requirementsWho is this course for? This Level 2 access programme is for young people aged 16 years and over who would like to consider training as an apprentice in business, arts, or technology What do I need to get on the course? 16-19 years old 4 GCSE`s grade D -E Interview and assessment 19+ You will be offered an interview to assess your suitability for the programme and at what level. Employment Status Employment is not necessary for the access programme, however during your 12-week course you will be expected to work with the College to secure a job and offer of an Apprenticeship. Support and guidance will be given. You cannot progress onto the full Apprenticeship without gaining employment

Course descriptionWhat is this course about?
This course equips you with the right skills needed to take the next steps towards becoming an Apprentice. You will complete a Btec in Work Skills level 2, focusing on your preferred career choice of the Arts, Business or ICT. You will meet employers and industry professionals who will work with you to develop your interpersonal skills so you can begin a career in your chosen industry.
What will I study?
You will study a range of skills needed to secure and succeed in employment. This will include a range of topics such as communication skills, developing working relations, networking and personal effectiveness.
What can I do after the course?
Upon successful completion of this course, we will assess your suitability for an apprenticeship position.
You can progress on to an apprenticeship, subject to employment being secured in: # Business and Administration (Level 2 and 3)
