Construction BTEC National Level 3 Course

  • Entry requirements You will need to be employed within the Building Industry, or positively seeking employment within the industry. You will normally need to have at least one of the following: a BTEC First Certificate or Diploma in a related subject, an intermediate GNVQ in a related subject, at least four GCSEs at grades A-C (to include science, mathematics and English) and/or appropriate knowledge and/or experience gained at work or from related qualifications.

    Content details
    This course introduces students to the core disciplines attached to achieving a professional career in the construction industry. Units include health, safety and welfare, construction and the environment, construction technology and design and construction science and materials.

    Course leads to
    HNC in construction course which will then lead to a degree level study programme or professional construction industry qualifications e.g. surveying.
