This degree has been developed to meet the changing needs of sport in the community and to provide vocational and academic training in this emerging area. Students completing this programme would be able to formulate policy, research and consult with a range of partners, obtain funding and promote and market community sport initiatives.
In addition, graduates will have a greater awareness of non-traditional sporting opportunities, cultural diversity and equality, sports policy and multi-agency collaboration.
