Entry requirementsEntry Requirements Applicants should be working with children and young people and will normally possess a first professional qualification to diploma or degree level in social work, teaching, nursing or youth work. Additionally students should have at least one year's post-qualifying practice experience and have been working with children for at least six months

Course descriptionThe programme provides the opportunity for practitioners who work with children and families to develop both their skills and knowledge in the area of child and adolescent mental health. In conjunction with academic staff and their manager or identified mentor, students select one of a number of different routes of study that allow them to develop areas of specialism.
Each of the courses of study may be applied for separately, and credits gained can be utilised at a later date towards the Graduate Diploma.
