Course descriptionYou have a wide choice of subject areas, such as:
-Atomic and Mass Spectrometry

-Environmental Chemistry
-Organic Synthesis and Mechanism
-Photochemistry and Concerted Reactions
-Quantum and Statistical Mechanics
-Spectroscopic Methods in Chemistry
-Transition Metals and Organometallic Chemistry.
Most of these modulesare worth 15 credits. For the Graduate Certificate, you
-take modules to the value of 60 credits, and for the Graduate Diploma, you -take modules to the value of 120 credits, normally over one or two years.
Teaching
A combination of lectures and laboratory practical classes. Some modules also involve computer-based learning.
Assessment
By examination, a report on practical work or coursework. Plus a dissertation and/or small research project.
