  • Course description COURSE INFORMATION

Anyone working or involved in a commercial enterprise will be well aware of the increasing demands placed upon business as a result of a myriad of legal obligations and regulatory controls governing all aspects of business activity. Understanding how the law operates within the commercial context is essential for any successful business whether it be a small enterprise providing local services to a multinational company trading throughout the world. The impact of increased legislation in the fields of employment law and environmental law, the complex rules governing intellectual property rights, and the rules governing international trade finance law are just some of the challenges facing business today.

In recognition of these demands the School of Law has developed a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Law, designed specifically to meet the needs of members of the business community who are interested in developing their understanding of the law that affects their business activity.
