Approach
Communicaid’s Bulgarian courses are available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Training takes place between 08:00 and 20:00 although courses are also available outside of these hours upon request.

Bulgarian course trainer
All Communicaid Bulgarian trainers are native speakers with at least 3 years’ professional Bulgarian training experience. In addition to relevant academic and linguistic qualifications and experience, many of our Bulgarian trainers also possess considerable exposure and expertise in the professional world.

AR
AR has been delivering Bulgarian language training since 1991, training in both the public and private sectors. Since joining Communicaid in 2001, AR has successfully trained a wide range of our clients. She is particularly adept at working with delegates requiring financial and diplomatic language. She has most recently delivered Bulgarian courses to Diplomats at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Military and Defence Attachés at the Defence School of Languages.
In addition to delivering Bulgarian courses, AR continues to freelance as a professional interpreter and recently interpreted at a meeting between the Bulgarian and British Prime Ministers, Sergey Stanishev and Tony Blair.

Bulgarian is the official language of Bulgaria. It is estimated that there are between 8.5 and12 million native speakers of Bulgarian worldwide. Outside of Bulgaria, Bulgarian is spoken in the Ukraine, Moldova, the Western Outlands region in Serbia, Romania, Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, as well as other emigrant communities around the world.
Bulgarian is part of the Eastern South Slavic group of the Slavic branch of the Indo-European family. It is most closely related to Macedonian. Standard Bulgarian is based on the Eastern dialects of Bulgaria.
Bulgarian uses a form of the Cyrillic alphabet. The present Bulgarian alphabet has 30 letters.
