Entry requirementsWho is this course for? For people aged 18 or over who have A-level, Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education or BTEC National Diploma or adults aged 21 or over who have completed a preparatory art and design course, and who want to study to degree level. What do I need to get on the course? You should have a portfolio of work and have achieved one of the following levels of qualification: * A-level and 3 GCSEs (grades A-C) * , A-levels and 2 GCSEs (grades A-C) * or 5 GCSEs at (grades A-C).

Course descriptionWhat is this course about?
A solid introduction and an opportunity to try many aspects of art and design and then chose a specific pathway, in fine art, graphics and design, photography or textiles with fashion. Other acceptable qualifications are for example a degree, a BTEC National Diploma, GNVQ, or overseas qualifications.
For mature students (age 21 or over) only. You do not need formal qualifications but you must provide evidence of recent relevant study, work or experience.
What will I study?
You will develop your creative and design skills through experimental work in drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, 3D, typography and ICT.
