BSc Sports Therapy

Objectives
We aim to help you achieve both clinical competence and graduate-level ability. You develop both subject-specific knowledge and the ability to relate it to the clinical situation. The course is accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists (SST)** and provides a strong scientific basis from which the pathologies and management of sports injuries can be understood. On completion, you will be able to diagnose, form and implement a treatment/rehabilitative plan of a sport injury or dysfunction.

Entry requirements
You should have GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent), plus 240 points from two or more A-levels, including Biology and Physical Education or science; or 240 points from two A-levels (Applied subjects) in Science; or a pass in BTEC National Diploma with MMM and at least 5 merits in the final year excluding common skills. Entry from appropriate Foundation and Access courses will also be considered.
