    Year 1

The modules at this level are designed to provide a sound foundation in the basic sciences of anatomy, biomechanics and human physiology. Students are also introduced to pathology, assessment and management related to sports therapy and rehabilitation. These modules are delivered at the Glenside Campus, Bristol, and where possible, the content and delivery integrates with BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy.

Practical sessions involving practice of professional skills, using fellow students as models, ensure students are prepared for the professional practice components of the degree.

    Year 2

Building upon Year 1 modules, this level integrates academic studies and professional practice. The focus is on clinical assessment, the management of sporting injury and evidence-based practice. The academic components of modules are delivered at Glenside Campus, Bristol.

    Year 3

Academic delivery is based at Hartpury College, Gloucester. Hartpury hosts six sports academies and provides a wide range of sports related opportunities to extend and hone skills. Modules are aimed at broadening your knowledge of the field of sports therapy and rehabilitation beyond that of clinical practice.
