ObjectivesSports Psychology is an important component of sports science, which looks at how the human body functions during exercise and sport. This course comprises a broad, multidisciplinary study of sport and exercise psychology, with an emphasis on performance enhancement and the effects of exercise and sport on psychological development and mental well-being.
Entry requirementsYou should have GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent). Successful applicants are normally expected to achieve one of the following: at least 160 points from two or more A-levels, including biology and physical education or science; or at least 160 points from two A-levels (Applied subjects) in science; or a BTEC National Diploma in Science with MMP and at least four merits in the final year, including biology-related modules, but excluding common skills. Entry from appropriate Foundation and Access courses will also be considered.
