ObjectivesPsychology is the scientific study of human behaviour, and the mental processes on which it depends. The neurosciences are concerned with the study of mental processes, but from a physiological perspective. There is now an awareness of the interdependence of psychological and physiological aspects of mental function. This interaction has begun to yield important research findings and new insight into the working of the brain.
