Objectives
Physiotherapists are the third largest group within the National Health Service after doctors and nurses. Physiotherapy offers tremendous opportunities and career satisfaction to those who enjoy dealing with people and helping them overcome difficulties.

Entry requirements
Entry Requirements Three A levels at BCC achieved at the same sitting, usually including a biological science at grade B. We do not accept General Studies. Students offering two AS levels in lieu of one A level should offer one grade higher than for the A2 award. 12-unit vocational A level at grade BB in Science or Health and Social Care, plus one A level, preferably Human Biology/Biology at grade B. An ITT recognised Access to Higher Education course with an average mark of 70% or above for Level 3-units. We recommend that you check the acceptability of any access course before you commence study, or at least prior to application to UCAS. Recent academic study or experience of biological science each application will be considered on merit. Graduates may wish to consider the PgDip Physiotherapy. All offers are subject to satisfactory health and Criminal Records Bureau checks.
