BSc Physics with Medical Applications

  • Objectives This programme is designed to offer students a broad knowledge of the fundamental elements of physics, as well as areas of medical science relating to physics. For example, you study topics such as: radiation protection, respiration and hearing, X-rays in medicine, cardiac function, medical ultrasound, nuclear medicine and artificial limbs.
  • Entry requirements We ask for 320 UCAS points i.e. AAC or ABB A level grades. Our teaching does not presuppose any previous knowledge of computer science and in selecting candidates for admission we do not insist on evidence of prior competence in computer programming.
